My name is Sam and I’m an MS in mechanical engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. My research is focused on solid mechanics, but often incorporates aspects of material science, applied mathematics, and developmental biology. Some of my most recent work has focused on fatigue in viscoelastic polymer foams and the stability of thin-shell structures.
